The book tells the story of a 12-year-old Tomek and his friends during WW II in occupied Poland. The war is seen through the child's point of view, focused on family and friends, dreams
and fantasies but also the harsh and dangerous reality of wartime.
The story is accompanied by 21 black and white illustrations I drew with ink and paint.
It was quite a challenge for it was my first book intended for such a young audience.
